#FAMILIESBELONGTOGTHER
Pictured above: Attorney Carcagno along with family and friends standing with a local Ann Arbor man protesting the Trump Administration's inhumane policy of separating migrant children from their parents and its inability to reunite these kids with their parents despite a court order.
The Trump Administration will FAIL to meet Judge Dana Sabraw's Tuesday, July 10th deadline for reuniting the migrant children under the age of 5 separated from their parents by CBP at the U.S. border during the government's zero tolerance policy (approximately from May 7- June 20, 2018). It is anticipated that only 54 of these 102 children will be reunited with their parents by this deadline. The Trump Administration originally thought that it separated 2,000 children from their parents during this time period, but the numbers have risen to approximately 3,000 children separated from their parents as a result of this Trump Administration's inhumane policy.
The Trump Administration will need to update Judge Sabraw tomorrow regarding its progress and to propose an updated timeline for complying with the court's order.
Per the Judge's June 27th order, all children will need to reunited with their parents within 30 days (July 26th).
TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TRUMP.
